Get this, I’m heading up to midtown Saturday to do some volunteer data entry at the local library, when I’m stopped by a girl dressed all in black. Now, anyone who lives in a small town knows this is a weird sight, and yet I didn’t shoot her with a ray gun as my gut instinct told me to. In fact, I said hi and played along with her little “I’ve seen you before, they say you’re a witch” crap for about 10 minutes before she got to the chase.
She’s a cheerleader, or WAS a cheerleader. According to this girl, we’ll call her Britney, she used to be an important member of the local highschool’s squad. What happened? Twenty extra pounds over the summer. Apparently ‘Britney’ gained some weight ( wouldn’t know it to look at her ), and her loving friends kicked her off of the squad until she drops said weight.
Here’s why this involves moi. This girl, now outcast by her friends, has decided that WE will be her new posse. Me and mine, the freaks of Tiny Townerson. As if we can’t wait for some highschool bimbo to come make us cool with her very presence? Deal with those balls for a moment. Take a few extra seconds if you need to.
I did try to be nice, telling her that her friends would probably take her back as soon as the weight was gone, and hanging with an older goth/beat crowd was just going to ruin her rep, which gave me time to gnaw off my leg and make a hop for it.
I no longer want to live in this world, and therefore I’ll make a jump for the sky because space is way less confusing and weird, lol.
