So, I got a neat question from Mia which I’d like to answer here since, unfortunately, I don’t have time at the moment to respond to via email and since it’s not too personal I thought I’d respond while I’m at work, lol.

Mia, your question was weither or not Asatruism is identical to the Viking religions? Well, technically it is a Viking religion but it’s one that observes the old ways. Most ‘Asatru’-like religions atm are based on Odinism, whereas Asatruism isn’t the sole worship of Odin ( though he is the focal point ). We do believe in and worship the Aesir Gods, we’re going to Niflheim ( or Valhalla, if we’re lucky enough to die bravely ), we believe in the Valkyries, Loki ( I’m actually also in one of Loki’s many cults, I’m insanely fond of the crazy little devil lol ), Thor, Frig (Frigg/Frigga/Frag), Freya and Frey, The Sons of Ivaldi, Sif, Idun and her Apples, ect.
