My Old Pal Freeze It

Okay, FINE, so my new pal Freeze It – a topical pain relief jelly stuff that I got as a sample in the mail today – it is freaking delicious. It’s got some kind of South American plant extract in it ( Paraguarienis? ) that enhances the effects, and it’s absolutely a drop of heaven, dude.

You see, they sent me this sample of Freeze It knowing full well that I’d use it once and have to buy it – they’re evil like that – and the fact that it’s only about ten bucks doesn’t hurt the deal at all, so of course now I need to get some. Here I am with my new precious. Don’t we look happy together? Yes we do.

With the exception of the scary, yet pretty color – dark, aloe vera leaf green – I was expecting clear, that actually reminds me a lot of Glint from Stranger’s With Candy ( don’t judge me, lol ) – and the semi-aspercream scent ( it fades quickly, don’t worry ) this product is exactly what I was needing – a couple of days ago, I had a nice tumble and hurt both of my already painful knees, one shoulder, my back and my hand walking down a scary, loose-rock covered hill on the two-mile trek to Subway, and my back has been killing me ever since, so when I got a free sample of pain reliever, I did a metephoric-style dance ( which means I didn’t dance for fear of hurting myself + sheer laziness ), tore the package open and applied some to my poor back – and it worked!

It feels like super-charged IcyHot, and while the pain isn’t entirely gone ( it’s a lot of pain, dude ), it’s lessened enough to where I could move around more today, and get some things done without being in absolute agony. I wish I’d had this stuff yesterday, I ended up sitting in that damn computer chair at work, half in tears for about an hour and a half after lunch, with my ibuprofin doing absolutely nothing for it. Freeze It’s a life saver, man, an absolute life saver. Granted, this sample was a generous size – and very much free, but I if this fabulous, blue-eyed child of a gel didn’t work, I wouldn’t have bothered writing about it, lol.
