Blogger On TV?

2007 | Random

Well, I’m sure you’ve noticed that *most* blogs are chatty Cathy’s when it comes to other people’s business, which is something I’ve never had a real taste for. I’ve never used my blog to gossip about anything, not because I don’t like gossip – which I don’t – but because I’m usually ranting or raving about things I don’t like, like Mel Gibson movies and and the Republican Primary, lol.

But, alas, I’ve ranted again instead of getting to the point and actually spreading some good gossip for once – the gossip would be a new show coming out, Gossip Girl on The CW, on September the 19th ( tomorrow, for those who aren’t paying attention! ), by Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz who created the O.C., about something near and dear to my heart.

For years and years we’ve had a parade of hackers, designers, and chatroom perverts grace the small and silver screen, but this may be the first time we have ever had an entire, soon-to-be a hit, teen drama-style TV show center around a fellow blogger!

Oh yes, a blogger! I can’t even believe it, I could only be happier if she was an Odin worshipper, lol. Gossip Girl is the name of the show, and this is the story of Gossip Girl ( Kristen Bell of Veronica Mars fame, narrating ) who runs a blog about the hip and vicious Upper East Side youngin’s she hangs with. Granted, youth dramas like The O.C. aren’t really my bag, but this is a blogger, people! I may force you to watch it, lol.

BEFORE YOU COMMENT: Please understand that, though I'm all for free speech, I'm also busy and downright mean. Because of this I will not tolerate offensive, inappropriate or hateful comments. I'll warn you and delete the offensive part, but if you repeat the offense I'll probably ban you from the domain. I'm sorry, but I just don't have time for spam, racism, and so on and so on. Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
