Okay. I want a new bento. I know, I know, I’m weak! But I’ve been seeing the 2007 Katoh(sp?) bentos on eBay, or other bento sites, and they’re so cute – greys, split-pea greens, mustard yellows and blacks with a bit of rust/copper red in there for detail.
I’m especially perving on the onigiri bentos, the little triangular bento boxes made especially for hauling your rice balls (snicker) without having to take the rest of your bento along. The new summer 2007 bentos have such a great early 80s look to them – like being in a safeway in 1982, lol.
They’re so uber-expensive, though, like $40 with the shipping for one with a bag, close to that without a bag, it’s insane and I don’t have the money so all I can do is rant about them and live in my fantasy world, lol. I may save up and get one for myself for my birthday.
