LED Christmas Lights
2007 | Random
Okay, I didn’t know about this and now I wish I had because, with me being such an energy nutcase, I’ve been an accidental hypocrite – I’ve been wasting energy and I didn’t even realize it. According to HolidayLEDs.com their long lasting, nearly room temperature LED Christmas lights are not only beautimous ( really, you should go check them out because the lights are just stunning ), but they also happen to be a very whopping ninety percent more energy efficient than your normal incandescent Christmas light bulbs, which are the Christmas lights that I’ve been currently using thus far. Now I’ve got it in my head that I have to just suck it up, pay the measly twenty five dollars and get a set to replace my energy hoggers, or I’m not going to feel right about even turning them on, now that I know the statistics.
Also according to Holiday LEDs, if only 20% of all homes in America would just switch out their old, energy-sucking Christmas lights for brand new LEDs, like the ones you can buy on their online catalog, we could save up enough energy to power 200 of those homes for the year, the entire year. On top of that, they’ve got such gorgeous designs, my favorite would be the blue strawberry. It would look awesome around the windows in my bedroom, but the Pure White Strawberry’s are just begging to be used on the boughs in our living and dining room. Plus, lifetime warranty and ninety-nine cent shipping, how can you pass that up?
