Bentoism?

2007 | Random, Rants

There’s no elitism! There’s no elitism in bentos! No, there isn’t, so stop it! What is Faith talking about? Well, I’ve found out that some of my fellow Bento-ers are elitist snob-faces who don’t consider bento lunch a ‘real’ bento lunch if it doesn’t have one hundred percent traditional Japanese cuisine in it, which is rediculous since I know more than a few Japanese kids who’s mothers pack them peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches in their bentos before they head out to school every day.

I find it stupid and utterly reidicule-worthy that people will be elitist buttmunches about anything they think they can get away with, and if they think they can exclude others by this behavior, then it makes it sweeter for them. Somehow, I was asked to join one of these elitist bento snob clubs via livejournal, apparently I’m their kind of luncher, it’s too bad they aren’t mine.
