Numb3rs

I’m loving the new season of Numb3rs, with the exception of the cop show stuff – yes, I do know what a weird thing that was to say, but I’ve never been a crime drama fan. I find it too contrived and trite, and a lot of overdramatic gestures and actions make it more like a soap opera – think tearing your sunglasses off dramatically, or everyone in the room wearing sunglasses for no reason. What I’m particularly fond of is the childish melodrama going on between Don and his brother Charlie, who’s played by the adorable and ever so hot David Krumholtz, on whom I’ve had a great big crush since I was about thirteen, lol.

The recent developments with Colby are really interesting, they’ve managed to make me worry about and feel for a character who was, at very best, my least favorite character on the entire show because of how very generic and ‘cop show’ he was. To find out what we have about him was a big shock, and if they were planning that all along then they’re magnificent bastards, lol.
