Data Time Capsules

This may be the freaking coolest thing I’ve ever seen on the whole interweb. The neat people over at the fabulous http://www.the100yearwebsite.com/ have decided to create a time capsule online, yes dearies, you heard me say ( or, rather, you rather read me write, if that makes any sense, lol ), the time capsule is completely housed online – what an awesome idea! So awesome, in fact, that celebrities in the UK like Danielle LLoyd have personal data time capsules.

You can even get a capsule for yourself or a friend as a gift, in fact they even put it in an actual metal capsule with a certificate and log in details so that you can get into your capsule whenever you feel like, since it’s password protected – and they make two copies of all of your data so you won’t have to worry about losing it once it’s been ‘sealed’ away in your time capsule. You can even choose when your capsule is opened, and the coolest part about this whole thing is that your capsule containing all of your data ( text, audio, video, photos, ect ) will be virtually buried for up to one hundred years – one hundred! Plus The100YearWebsite is also now all signed up with the British Library web archiving program! So, unless the Martians finally come and attack us and make slaves out of the human race, you can be sure that the data and info in your time capsule will be safe and sound.
