Well, we’ve got a tiny, adorable problem all of the sudden. There’s now a cute little mouse running around our house who so isn’t stealthy. I’m pretty sure he got in here through the broken heating vent, and it’s just that time of year in the heartland where you better stock up on traps – the problem is, he’s sneaky and the traps aren’t working, so we’ll need to get glue traps because they have a higher success rate.
Here’s the funny about this, that mouse has hopped over or around that trap at least 30 times, I’ve watched him do it with rolled eyes. Not once has he set it off, but Laota – she’s set it off at least three or four times because it’s not far from where she occasionally stands when she’s talking to me and I’m on the computer. Mouse in Trap – 0 times, Laota in Trap – 3. So, basically, Laota‘s not quite as smart as a not-stealthy mouse, because all you have to do is put a trap where she usually walks and you’ll catch her. So, at least we know the traps work, lol.
