Hosting Alternative

As I’m sure you’re aware, I was offering space at my blog host for everything from wordpress to blogger to MovableType, but for the time being that’s unavailable due to my lack of time since I’d be creating the packages manually. I suggest you check out AQHost for blog hosting, which gives you the option of wordpress hosting, Movable Type hosting, ect.

AQHost is actually a really good place to build a starting blog if you’re unfamiliar with WordPress, because they offer free video tutorials on how to use the script, plus $6.99 a month for a gig of space isn’t a bad deal at all. Plus they tranfer your account to their server for free if you’re already on a server with cPanel, and there’s no set up fees at all, so you’re not paying them extra for something that takes, at most, ten minutes to do. On top of all that, they offer fantastico which, if you’re not familiar with the script is an automatic script installer that will let you install high end scripts like wordpress, fusion, coppermine, you name it – with only a few clicks. I swear, I’d go nutbar if I didn’t have fantastico, I mean scripts like WordPress aren’t that hard to install but the one-click updating when a new version is released is a life saver, I don’t know what I’d do without that, lol.
