Gas Station Subs

Laota and I just ran out to the gas station ( Casey’s ) to get a slice of pizza for dinner tonight since we didn’t have time to cook, and low and behold they had a brand new cold case next to the hotcases with pizza and chicken strips…it had sub sandwiches in it and, oh yes, salads. Needless to say we over-spent, lol, we bought two sandwiches each and a salad each so we’l have food for two days and they are *so* good. I just had a roast beef, only about $3.50 for a six inch long sandwhichs, and I’m already eying my other sandwhich, lol.

I’m so giddy about the salads, though, because the nearest place to get a salad is a four mile walk and I’ve got a screwed up knee and no car, so now I can walk three blocks and get a fresh salad at Casey’s for cheaper than Subway ( not as good, but cheaper lol ). Yay!
