Life in New York

2007 | Uncategorized

You know, as much as I love New York and have for most of my life, and as much as I’ve wanted to settle there – at least for a little while – it never dawned on me that there was an option that didn’t involve renting an apartment. For some reason I see my life as one of cheap apartments and I never thought of living in my own home. Thinking about that has made me realize that I’d never be able to handle all of the details surrounding home purchase, so I know I’d need some major help with that, maybe even a New York real estate broker?

I’ve never worked with a broker of any kind, so I wouldn’t even know where to start but Prudential is an old company, in fact it’s the largest real estate company in New York which is nothing to shake a stick at. They serve 350 communities all over New York, but NYC is what I’m really interested in, and Douglas Elliman’s website has a lot of resources like Real Estate for Dummies ( I really need that, lol ) and guides, plus the website says they’ll even help you relocate. You can’t ask for better than that, right?

Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
