2007 | Gifts and Giving, Holidays
Well, Halloween went off without a hitch or a visit from any relatives, lol. We did the trick or treat thing, we easily had twice the amount of kids this year as we’ve ever had, all in actual costumes instead of home made costumes with coats over them, which was nice and very Halloweenie – our new neighbors went all out, too, so the Monster Mash was cranked up through the neighborhood. I enjoyed it but it annoyed some of the other residents, which I enjoyed more, lol.
We decorated, had our sushi dinner, ate candy, watched A Disney Halloween ( Disney’s Halloween Treat ) plus a load of Halloween documentaries, it was awesome, and now that it’s the day after we’re already decorating for Solstice. We’ve got the tree up and lit, a new festive holiday ‘tea’ set with mugs, plates and a pretty display rack, we’re slowly buying wreaths, garland, gifts, wrapping, ect. so we’ll be ready and set by the time December rolls around. I love this time of year!
