Plastic Surgery

2007 | Health

I don’t know what things are like in the Plastic Surgery UK market, but here ( yes, even in the boonies aka the middle of nowhere ) people actually save up for it – even if it means selling their car or mortgaging their house. A woman just a year and a half younger than me, who lives four streets down from me and has three kids sold her minivan to afford it, and that’s just insane. See, the problem is that she talked to a doctor who told her she’s a prime candidate for plastic surgery. I’m not entirely sure what he said, but shouldn’t it be a prerequisite for cosmetic surgeons to look out for their patient’s best interests? I know I, personally, wouldn’t trust a cosmeticic surgeon who recommended a proceedure right off the bat, without suggesting alternatives and talking over what to expect before I decided on anything. I swear, some people will jump into anything, head first.
