Song Parodies

For years I’ve been fond of song parodies, usually poking fun at dramatic situations or specific famous people in song is probably my favorite form of sattire, and a lot of my friends are that way, too ( you should check out Josh‘s John Denver parodies ).

So I’ve decided that I’m going to start posting song parodies that have circulated around my circle of friends and gotten many giggles, this one was written by Helen, Josh and myself to sum up Angel’s life in L.A. and is to the tune of “Mandy” by Barry Manilow – which is fitting for Angel, don’t you think?

When I watched the Angel show,
Didn’t know how far you’d go,
You were standing there, and Holtz was with you
And then there’s grenade, and Lilah was there, too-

Many times you’ve saved a soul,
Someone who had lost control
All except for Faith
You didn’t save her
But I guess she thinks you did,

I’m surprised what you will do
