Digital Camera Woe

I need a digital camera. NEED. I don’t have a decent one, the little crappy cannon I had is broken and my camera phone ( which is what I now use most often ) takes pretty crappy pictures. But I sell clothing and CDs on eBay, take pictures of big moments and small, and most of all I run a crappy photoblog for all my delicious and luxurious and, oddly, completely non-exotic bentos that I keep at the rarely updated Catch Me Kiss Again bento blog, which is a name that you’ll recognize if you’re a fan of the live action Japanese Sailor Moon series ( that theme song seems like it should be too dirty for TV, lol ).

I find that I need, or want, a digital camera more and more – even with text messaging charges it’s faster and cheaper for me to take pictures with my phone than it is with a regular camera with film that has to be developed, not to mention it’s a billion times more convenient. Even one hour photo places are still one hour, and you’ve got strangers rifling through your personal memories and moments. I want a crappy digi cam when I’m being realistic, a Nikon D3 when I’m being wishful and all the time in the world for picture taking when I’m dreaming, lol. Plus, the holidays are coming up and if there were any perfect time of the year to capture special moments, it’s now. I’ve enclosed an image of one of my bentos taken with my horrible camera phone, and I think you’ll agree that I need a new digital camera, lol.
