Banks and Loans

2007 | Business, Money

I’ve been thinking a lot laely about loans, especially personal loans, because I didn’t know until this year that you can use the money from said loans on what you need it for – and I need higher education. Now, I refuse to apply for secured loans, or any other type of loan, the reason being that I don’t trust my bank as far as I could throw them, they aren’t helpful and, to be honest, the tellers are just plain rude. I do think, though, that if I were to go and apply for a loan, they’d probably give it to me without doing any kind of background check, the reason I say this is because I live a few houses down from a couple who got a loan at that bank – a big one – enough to finance the purchase of their new house ( I think they had half or a little more of the money already, though ), and the bank gave them the loan they applied for and they’re already so far in debt that I don’t see how they weren’t run out of the bank by an angry mob. Why don’t people do their jobs?

Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
