College Financial Aid
2007 | Money
When I was in school I’d heard quite a bit about college financial aid for those who couldn’t afford to put themselves through school and, even though I seriously needed the financial help, I didn’t know where to begin or how to go about applying for aid. I realize that living in the middle of nowhere and being under the strict rule of parents who didn’t want me to go to college didn’t help my case, but it was my own fault for giving up after only a year and a half of looking for the right program. I wish Scholarships.com were around at the time, or that I’d known about it, because browsing it now I can see how it may have made all the difference. They offer a long list of college scholarship opportunities and grants, all constantly updated and accurate, for absolutely nothing. A free scholarship and grant database is exactly what I needed. I’ve never wished for a time machine more than I do right now.

Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
