To Sleep, Perchance To Dream

Argh, I’m trying desperately – yes, I said desperaely – to stay awake a little longer so I can finish some work and not have it weighing on my fragile little mind while I try to sleep, because I know if I don’t finish it tonight, even with how exhausted I am, I won’t be able to sleep. I’ll toss and turn and worry and bake to a crisp, and have to get up a million times in the middle of the night to pace nervously only to break down, admit defeat and finish it anyway. I don’t want to do that, it wastes time, but I’m a worrier, there’s not much I can do about that. I’m lucky this presentation isn’t due for another week and a half – but procrastination hurts my face.
