Redecorating

Redecorating! Laota and I are redecorating! Just the living room and dining room, but they sorely need it. We just put a new framed painting of a staircase ( gorgeous golds and rusts ) in it’s frame on hold and I’m looking for a coffee table to match everything. The walls are so bare, though, and I’m tempted to buy a few more paintings and maybe even one of those Howard Miller grandfather clocks or maybe another gorgeous Howard Miller clock to take up space without ‘taking up space’, if that makes any sense?

I absolutely adore interior design, although I’m really no good at it, but I have to admit that a beautiful Howard Miller can do wonders – I’ve always wanted one, I absolutely adore them. I’ve had my eye on the skeleton clocks, I love the Visible Pyramid table clock, it’s just beautiful – the metal and the glass ( is that glass? ), it’s got a crystal look to it and the gold is so rich. With all the honey tones in this room, I’d love to set one on an end table, it’d be breathtaking! I think I’m going to go more towards creams, since the new curtains are a beautiful lemony cream that gives a sunny day look to every color of light, even on grey days – so that pyramid clock is perfect, especially for maybe on the book case or entertainment center? If I get up the cash and get it, I’ll post pictures.
