Gift Basket Heaven

This is so cool, I know you’re gonna get a kick out of it! I’ve just found out about DelightfulDeliveries.com, a website dedicated to gorgeous gifts and gift baskets that has recently been named one of Internet Retailer magazine’s Top Hot 100 Retail Websites and is, in their own words, America’s #1 Gift Basket Website.

DelightfulDeliveries.com has some awesome gift baskets, they have them for many occasions, not just Christmas ( Solstice ), thought Solstice is what I’ll likely be buying there for. I love gift baskets because I’ve been on the recieving end of them, and I know how much fun they can be – in fact, I think other than a bento box set or something Norse a gift basket would with treats is what I’d want the most for any occasion. They have, and yes I have to catch my breath, bakery towers! In the gift tower section there are gift towers filled with cookies and other goodies to give to a friend or, oh, I don’t know, yourself?

I’m particularly partial to Mrs. Beasley’s® Eight Tier Tower which includes not only cookies – and chocolate truffle/caramel peacan cookies no less – but also pistachio nuts, fruit flashers ( no idea what that is but I want it, lol ), jelly beans, brownie bars ( my favorite! ) and chocolate teacake! Teacake! Chocolate! I want it! And everything’s individually wrapped which is for freshness, but I love individually wrapped foods because I’m obsessive complusive and having food not be wrapped, even if it’s cookies in a cookie jar, bothers me, lol.

They also have dinners and meals like the Smokehouse Buffet Tower: A Feast To Savor and, apparently, whey they say feast they mean it! It includes smoked mussels, sockeye, oysters, keta, king, smokehouse salmon chowder, chili, a can of salmon pate and what they call “Mariners Crackers” – and I want it, please. Just give it to me, that or the Family Breakfast Special – don’t make me hold you up at gunpoint, lol. *sigh* FINE, I suppose if I have to pay then I have to pay. And I do have to pay because I want that Family Breakfast Special, lol.
