Doggy Memories

I was so happy earlier this week to find that some of my pictures weren’t ruined in last summer’s flood, and that’s a big deal since some of those pictures were of my dog Sassy who passed on almost two years ago, and I was so afraid I had no pictures of her. I’ve got a lot of good memories of that pooch, we took her with us in the van last time we went out to California, literally halfway across the country, and she had a blast – she got to run around on the beach and play in the ocean, and stink up the car which was one of her favorite passtimes. The only bad part about taking her with us on our vacation was the fact that we didn’t find any pet friendly hotels, not even one, and she had to sleep in the car if we went in a hotel so we ended up just all staying in the van with her – why should she have to be lonely, right? I wish we’d known about the tips and tricks you can find over at OfficalPetHotels.com, though, we could have used the one about feeding ice cubes to your dog instead of large amounts of water, I had no idea about that and it would have saved a lot of trouble!
