Anywhere but Here

You know where I want to be right now? Tokyo. I’m tired of this place, I haven’t had a vacation in almost 10 years and I desperately need one. Thailand may be good, though, heck I’ve even thought of booking flights to Hong Kong spontaneously but I know I can’t afford it, even with the help of a fairy godmother, lol. It’s all hollow dream-age on my part.

But Tokyo’s one of my favorite cities in the world, it’s nice to be in the bustle of a crowded place where no one stops to bother you. Plus the food is to *die* for. But Hong Kong, I think right now it’s Hong Kong I’d rather be in – also had great food, great culture, and it’s time for Nian to start eating people so there’ll be celebrations. *sob* I wanna go, lol. I want prawn dumplings and the hustle-bustle, please, lol. I’d love to rent a car for the day and go sight seeing with Laota, take in some local food and generally have a good time. But money is the Devil and prevents me from doing this, lol.

On top of all of this, I have to celebrate the advancing Year of the Rat in Missouri, of all places! I can’t even wish someone prosperity in the new year without risking backlash here. Oh well, kung hei fat choi, everyone!
