Borba Beauty Blog
2008 | Blogging
I’m pretty sure this is a first for me, but I’ve recently visited the Borba.com skin care blog, and they have actual information on skin care for men. Oh yes, actual info on men’s skin care which is weird considering the lack of interest most beauty and skin care websites show for the subject.
For those of you who have just tuned in, beauty blogs are one of the internet’s most recent success stories. Started initially by civilian bloggers in their spare time have now been adopted by the biggest names in beauty, and honestly are quickly losing their appeal. See, when a civilian blogger says, “I love Company A’s clarifying line because…” they have no reason to lie, so you can usually trust that they use this product. However, a lot of big name brands have beauty blogs in which all sorts of beauty questions are addressed by shoving a product from their own line down the reader’s throat, even if it’s not the best product for the job.
That said, Borba’s beauty blog is really cool and I’ve noticed that, while they’re pushing their own brand ( obviously ), they go above and beyond to explain what their products, which are all dermatologist tested, do and how they can really help you with your skin problems. Plus, if you find you just have to spend $100 at Borba.com ( and trust me, you’ll find loads of neat stuff, like gummi bears that are good for your skin! ), you can get a free gift that’s worth $25!
BEFORE YOU COMMENT: Please understand that, though I'm all for free speech, I'm also busy and downright mean. Because of this I will not tolerate offensive, inappropriate or hateful comments. I'll warn you and delete the offensive part, but if you repeat the offense I'll probably ban you from the domain. I'm sorry, but I just don't have time for spam, racism, and so on and so on. Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
