The Finer Things

Well, I bought my roaster thingie last night after work. It’s a cheapie one from Aroma that goes up to 450 degrees, has an inner sleeve and rack and a lid and it’s a lot bigger than the one my mom had bought a few years back. It even matches my new cheap coffee maker and toaster, that combined cost about $20. I’m waiting on PayPerPost to payout a $14 opp so we’ll have enough money to go and buy a Brita water filter pitcher so we can stop drinking this town’s horrible sewage water, lol.

Laota and I are clearing out junk right now and packing up my mom’s enormous amount of stuff for storage, and so that our own things can finally fit on our counter without a jumbled mess ( I hate jumbled mess ). We’re going to celebrate by cooking up some fried chicken as a test run in our roaster tonight and eating it off our brand new, ripe olive green stoneware dishes we haven’t been able to use even though we’ve had them for over a year and a half ( took them out of the box today! ).
