School Daze

Okay, well as you likely know I never went to college. The simple fact is that I couldn’t afford it, even though I already knew what I wanted to major in. I’ve always regretted not going to school past 12th grade, which thanks to my parents fudging up my life ended up being done by corrispondance in my late teens, and I’ve thought often about going back to school and trying to get a degree and hopefully boost my station in life so that I’m not always right on the poverty line. I don’t know if you know this, but riding the poverty line like it’s a mustang and I’m a cowboy is no fun. I’m the poverty cowboy, lol.

One thing I’d never thought about doing is studying mechanical engineering. It’s just not a field I’d ever thought much about, to be honest, and I kind of want to look into it now that I know that a big time school like Kettering University offers courses in it, a school which was named in the US News Best Colleges “the #1 University in the nation for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering”, which sounds more than cool.
