A New Nosh

Well, our tiny town only has 2 ailes of ‘groceries’ which are either snacks ( chips, jerky, etc. ), booze or canned/boxed meals like mac and cheese and canned tuna ( $1.79/can – pew! ), and everything is mondo expensive so Laota and I have resigned ourselves to eating the boxed food that you only have to add water to. Well, we’ve become big fans of Banquet Homestyle Bakes because they have the meat and sauces right in them, and it’s a just add water situation. Well they just started stocking Banquet Homestyle Bakes Asian-style fried rice with chicken and vegitables and omg…OMG. I’m in love with it! Plus you get four bentos out of one box, and one box is only $5. I didn’t think it would be as good as it is, but it’s savory, tastey and doesn’t taste like an instant meal. I’ve had take out that tastes very similar.
I’m so giddy, the fact that they’re stocking it now means I can get it *whenever*, and you know me and rice – especially rice that includes chicken, carrots, peas and sauces. *waits impatiently for payday*
