Ghost Riders

“Cowboy, change your ways today or with us you will ride, a tryin’ to catch the Devil’s herd across these endless skies…” – Okay every time I hear that song I start getting a bit spooked, lol. I forgot how frightening that song really is until tonight when Blues Brothers 2000 was on and they played that song. My uncle Tim used to play the record when I was little and it terrified me. A lot of things scared me when I was a kid, and I’m starting to think that’s why I’m so oddly morbid now, lol.

I mean, I’ve found a love of horror ( Asian, mostly ) films in my 20s and I’ve seen something like 40 K-Horror, J-Horror, etc. flicks in the last two years. I spent most of my teens being what some would now call gothic ( though, I don’t think just liking to wear black can really be considered gothic ) and having a weird addiction to all things spooky and creepy. My favorite month, actually, is Seventh Month and it’s also them month that scares me the most. There’s something wrong with me, lol.
