Art of the Devil II

I finally got to see Art of the Devil II, and after hearing what people had said about it I was really skeptical about how good it may or may not be, but I was really surprised – I really enjoyed it!

It’s a lot scarier than the first – no, wait, I think I mean gorier – and where the first was strong in subtle scares the second is very strong in story and creepiness. Very nice watch and some good scares for anyone who’s a fan of Asian horror, or was a fan of the first film though this one has more of a Bunshinsaba feel to it than the first did – almost rem. of The Ghost of Mae Nak.

I’m definately going to buy the DVD to add to my collection, because I loved the first and the second may be just as good if not a bit better for several reasons, though I know the purists are going to shoot me for saying that, lmao.
