Birthday Season!

CRAP! Do you know what I just realized? It’s Birthday Season! Birthday Season is that time of year when all of your friends birthdays are lined up like dominos, and you’re just running to one party after another, always someone else to buy a present for. Ugh, I hate Birthday Season, lol. I always forget someone’s birthday, even though I try to remember everyone, and it always cleans out any savings I’d had saved up since the previous birthday season, and let’s face it, I’m so poor right now I can barely afford birthday cards for everyone.

Cards are getting expensive! Just the generic cards at the local store here are $5 or more per card, times that by Birthday Season and we’re talking almost $200 that I really can’t afford. Don’t get me wrong, I love to give my friends cards and gifts, but if you can’t afford it then everyone gets crappy cards and that’s no fun for anyone.

I’m thinking about just heading over to CardsDirect and picking up what I need in bulk, since it’d slash my cost by at least half if not 2/3′s, since their cards are only $1.50 to $2.00, plus they’ve got a beautiful selection and you can customize the fonts, inside text, personalize them if you want. It’s all done using forms, very convenient!
