Disturbia – No Way!
2008 | Movies, Watching
Well, I finally saw Disturbia, after over a year of telling myself I wasn’t ever going to see it because it’s a remake of one of the greatest thrillers ever made by maybe the single greatest horror and suspense director of all time, but, and I can’t believe I’m saying this – it was really good. So good, in fact, that I ended up having to buy it.
It’s all The Beouf’s doing. I blame him, because when he chooses his films they all come out like Transformers or Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls – meaning people complain about them, but when you see them you’re blown away. And a lot of times ( not in Indy, thank the gods ) Shia‘s preformance is the only thing keeping the movie afloat, which is what happened in both Transformers and Disturbia. Random: Megan Foxx needs acting lessons, she’s gorgeous though but what does that help if she can’t act?
Anyway, all I know is that because of his stellar track record I’m definately lined up for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen ( Yay Starscream! ), Indy 5 if they make it and the upcoming flick Eagle Eye.
