Need A Merchant Account? Read This!
2008 | Business
It seems like everybody I know is in business for themselves these days and needs or has a merchant account. Especially online. I mean I run a graphic design website, a couple of friends of mine run an online boutique, another friend has her own small time clothing line, yet another writes and sells custom comic books. Heck, I even work for a webhost that’s in business for themselves. But even my boss, who’s a politician running for another term as district representative also has two start up pizza fast food franchises on the side and one thing I’ve noticed seems to be in big demand is the ability to accept credit cards, especially with an economical merchant services.
Getting a merchant account these days isn’t as hard as it was when I started out, as it turns out. These days you can get a free merchant account, with no fees or contracts at all, and it’ll do wonders for your business. Heck, you may even get a free credit card machine out of the deal so that you can start to accept credit cards for your business if you check out OnlineCheck.com. These days you just have to have credit card processing or nobody’s going to do business with you, which you’ll find out right quick if you’re in business ( especially online ) and try a no CC’s policy.
