Film Review-let – Bobby (2006)
2008 | Blogging
So, I just saw the 2006 film Bobby for the first time today, the film centered around the Bobby Kennedy asassination, and I’ve got to say that even with a stellar cast and crew, great trailers and the presence of Shia LaBeouf and the likes of David Krumholtz it was still 100% better than I even thought it was going to be, and I thought I initially may have been giving the project too much credit.
It’s just gorgeous and moving, every frame is perfect, and the costumes – dude, I want to live in the costumes. The whole film looked at once like harsh reality in places and fuzzy, romanticized memories in others. I can’t even tell you how fabulous the writing was, the whole thing just rocked. Yes, you have to see it because I’m stronger than you and I plan to force you.
