Yes We Can: Obama Wins!

Pardon the current theme – very pretty but it will soon be replaced with one of my own when I have a minute to finish up my holiday design. So. Now onto the meat.

Ahhhh! I can’t believe it! *runs around screaming* Barack Obama wins by a HUGE margin! I’m moved beyond words, the sheer number of votes this guy got – the sheer amount of support. I never thought I’d see this in my lifetime, but here it is and I’m only in my 20s. I can say truthfully that for the first time in almost a decade, I’m proud to be an American citizen again. I’m proud of our people, and I’m proud of my generation.

I can’t wait until Bush is really out of office and he can’t do any more damage – well, at least not as Prez, lol. I’m going to have a tea toast to the Obama family tonight, and do a happy little dance of some sort, lol. Never in a billion years did I think this was going to happen, only hoped and here it is. Yes we can!
