I just signed up for a website that has maybe the weirdest name of any website I’ve ever come across, in fact the name is so weird it puts Bamzu to shame, and it’s name is Kerchoonz.
Kerchoonz is a media site, sort of. You can play games, listen to music and watch videos to your heart’s content, all for free (or that’s how I understand it at least), and the best part? Even though listening is free for your, the artist you’ve downloaded still gets paid for their work – how is that for cool? Oh come on, you know that’s cool, lol.
By far my favorite thing about Kerchoonz is that I was 100% wrong about it. What do I mean by that? I mean that I assumed that the videos or graphic-intensive interface would crash my browser as do so many others (not sure why people still create graphic intensive coorporate websites, but whatever.) and make me never want to go back even if the pros outweigh the cons but as I said, I was 100% wrong. The site actually loaded fairly quickly, as did the media that I checked out, which made it easy for me to really look at and use the service so that I could accurately review it here. It’s a joy, dude, I love it so far and I’m hoping that Kerchoonz gets rights to the music it’s negotiating with some major labels, because let’s be honest, we all like free stuff, right?
