New Year, New You

2009 | Health

Well, boys and girls, it’s that time of year again when everyone and their Aunt Mae are making resolutions for themselves for the New Year ( I can’t believe it’s already 2009! ), and I think one of the most popular, if not the most popular New Year’s resolution to make is one of the hardest – to lose weight and get into shape in the upcoming year. It’s not easy to do, I’ve been battling a weight problem since before I was on solid foods, and after a severe leg injury shut down my hectic workout schedule for a few months I ballooned up and haven’t been able to take the weight off.

I think at some point I just gave up, because I’ve always been one of those people who could stay on a strict diet and work out for hours a day and always have to settle for plump, but what I didn’t know until that injury was that if I ever stopped the exercise – even for a little while – that it wouldn’t matter how well I ate because I’m just built that way. Always pushing maximum density.

I’ve been tempted to try some kind of medication, but it’s so hard to find safe diet pills that it’s always worried me because it’s not something I want to become dependent on. But I’ve been reading over at Lab88.com and they’ve got products that seem to be just what the doctor ordered. They’ve got a package of diet products consisting of Appetite Suppressant, Metabolism Booster and even a Diet Colon Cleanser – a $149 value – for less than $80! I’m tempted to try it, I’ve heard good things about use of colon cleansers and I’ve been wanting to try that out but never could afford it.
