Canada Gets Active

A little while ago I posted about the awesome and amazing SOGO Active, an organization dedicated to getting Canadian kids healthy and fit through activity and support. What I didn’t realize is that, aside from getting fit and feeling healthy and great, there’s one more reason to get up and get moving with SOGO and that’s the opportunity presented by SOGO, who’s teamed up with Coca-Cola, to award over 1,000 teenagers a chance to be part of history!

Coca-Cola and SOGO will be choosing teens who join up based on how committed they are to keeping fit and active to carry the torch in the 2010 Olympics! The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, to be exact, in the hopes that the rare and amazing opportunity to participate at this event will inspire Canadians all over the nation to get up, get active and get healthy! Plus the kids who are chosen for this honor will be examples of commitment and dedication for the entire nation, which is such a huge deal and would no doubt be one of the biggest thrills of their young lives. Imagine the pride they would be able to take in themselves? Pride well deserved for their efforts, plus the prize of a leaner, healthier body to boot!
