Just Buried – Buried By The Media?

UGH, Just Buried is on DVD in a few days. Since when!? This is like that crap with Eagle Eye only being in the theater for two damn months. Did you ever once see a commercial for Just Buried? At all? Me either, and I’m a huge fan of Jay Baruchel so I’m pretty much up on projects and whatnot. I knew about Just Buried but I still have yet to see it advertised.

For those of you who haven’t heard about it, it looks freaking hilarious and as soon as the DVD comes out I’m gonna rent it because the whole funeral home war idea is way too funny and original. And the trailer looks amazing:

I just finished finally watching Tropic Thunder last week, which was better than it even looked. I’m iffy on Fanboys, I’m not sure how much they changed it or if it will end up even resembling the story it was intitially ( I can’t even remember if they kept the cancer plotline or not? ), because I’ve seen what editing can do to a film. Actually The Battle of Shaker Heights could easily have been two different films, and the re-edit proved it.

I’m hoping that Fanboys turned out decently and that they didn’t turn it into the skin flick that the trailer suggests they did. Oh well, I adore most of the cast so at least that should help me swallow it if it turns out to be a horse pill, lol.
