Welcome, Mr. President

Woo hoo! I’ve spent the day working like a dog on a hot day, but at the same time I’ve been watching Obama’s Inauguration and I still can’t believe Bush is gone and Obama’s got the office now. I’m so insanely giddy, and I know I’m getting my hopes up too high but how can I not? They may be dashed, may very well be dashed, but I can’t help but hope that this one is a good one. This President is someone who can make a difference.

I see so much hope in the sway he has over my generation, so much hope I hear in his voice when he speaks. It’s amazing. I’m amazed.
