I Need To Shut It

2009 | Blogging, Business, Rants

I’ve decided that I’m less than effective and keeping the peace. Or even being peaceful, to be honest. Because I’ve got a big mouth and lately there’s nothing that doesn’t warrant at least a whine from me if not more. Not because it deserves it or I deserve to whine, but because I’m so used to just spouting off and I really need to learn to stop that. I won’t, though, I know I won’t, lol.

Ugh, more work! Gonna head off for a bit, break’s over.

Search Smarter

| Blogging, Reviews

My first impression, at first sight, of Find Hub was a bad one. I thought, “Oh great, yet another ‘search engine’ that piggy backs off of Google search.” – that’s where I was wrong. See Find Hub isn’t just another in a long line of search engines, Find Hub seems to be a one stop ‘hub’ of searches from the most popular content engines around – engines like google for search, youtube for video, etc., all from one, convenient and fast loading webpage. I’m making Find Hub my homepage and I really suggest everyone try it out – maybe even make it your homepage, too. Could save you a lot of time!

Mediacom Blows

| Blogging, Rants

I absolutely hate Mediacom. I’ve hated them since day one and yet I have to stick with them because of the oh so many choices for internet access here in Turtle Squirt, Missouri. It’s never very fast, even for their super high prices, and what’s worse is that it slows down to SUCH a crawl sometimes that uploading one small graphic takes HOURS. This is supposed to be cable! WTF!

Not to mention the customer service people are rude and arrogant. The guy who came to install it broke my glass Chinese lantern and then acted mad at ME about it. What the hell! I wish I had an alternative, and I know griping doesn’t help matters but I needed to get that out, lol.

A Belated Valentine

2009 | Dating, Friends

Okay, so Valentine’s day is over, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve got to stop searching for that someone special, right? Not everyone hit the jackpot like I did, I found my perfect match 10 years ago and haven’t looked back, but if you haven’t found your Mr/Miss Right yet and you don’t want to deal with high priced matching websites like eHarmony or Match.com then why not try Passion Search?

PassionSearch is free to use. Sign up for an account on their really easy to load, easy to navigate and easy to understand website, update your account information and start searching. It couldn’t be easier and, plus, it’s the best price ever – free!

Personally I’m not one to advocate internet dating websites, and for the most part it’s because of bad experiences my friends have had. One of my best friends is on Plentyoffish and she’s had a hard time dealing with their website (hard to use), and I think she’d hit the roof if she tried Passion Search. Very cool stuff there, I have to recommend at least giving them a try – it’s free, what have you got to lose? The most you could waste is a little of your time, but if this website interests you at all, chances are you’ve given everyone else a shot so maybe it’s time to try something new and take a gamble. You might win. ;)
