So, I’ve decided I’m going to actually do a wardrobe buying thing this year. Why? Because I don’t have one, lol. All of my clothes are either business clothes or they’re a bit over the top and very 1983 or 1997 – which, in my defense, is intentional, lol. I like being retro, I think I do it better than most people, lol.
I feel old. I mean, I lived during some major fashion decades, in fact I remember when BugGirl was around, and Fetish by Dana. Very few of the old labels from my teens are still around, but some have actually grown and branched out like Baby Phat Shoes, which is news to me because I didn’t realize until today how big they’ve really gotten because the hip-hop styles are something that I left behind me when I started working in a corporate atmosphere. Kind of miss it, though.
