Living in Smallville

You know what sucks about this town? The sheer lack of businesses here. There’s only one grocery store, a few gas stations and an auto parts store and everything else are gas stations. See this is why the kids in this town grow up and leave as soon as possible. There’s no opportunity, no jobs and no security and the cost of living, even out here in the boonies, is getting sky high. It’s not worth the trouble to live in a dead end place like this.

It’s hard, really hard, but it would make a huge difference if the people here had enough money to start a business of their own. Take pride in something that’s theirs, maybe get in on a franchise? A franchise or two can make all the difference in a town, even a tiny one like this, don’t you think?
