Why Do We Pay the I.R.S.?

2009 | Money

Okay, as if we’re not all already fed up with the government and tax time I’ve recently read something disturbing, and if it’s true I’m gonna go on a killing spree, lol. I found this at thegaryhalbertletter.com:

More than 80,000,000 people call the I.R.S. Information Hotline phone number every year. One-third of those calls go unanswered. And, according to the Treasury Department itself,47% of the answers the ‘get-through’ callers receive are incorrect.

Why do we pay them? You know if us, the tax payers, were to treat our relationship with the Internal Revenue Service with the same sort of disregard and sloppiness that they treat us (and our money) with they would rain down on us like hellfire, lol. Why don’t we do something about this? Um, because we can’t, I do realize that, lol. It’s just crazy that we have to put up with this crap, and yes I know I’m asking for it by even blogging about this, but it’s crazy! Let’s all get together, the American People, and audit the I.R.S. What do you say?

BEFORE YOU COMMENT: Please understand that, though I'm all for free speech, I'm also busy and downright mean. Because of this I will not tolerate offensive, inappropriate or hateful comments. I'll warn you and delete the offensive part, but if you repeat the offense I'll probably ban you from the domain. I'm sorry, but I just don't have time for spam, racism, and so on and so on. Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
