Branding Your Business

I talk a lot about VistaPrint. A lot. Not only on this blog, but also on my other blogs and quite often to my friends and family, because even though we all work in different fields I really think that everyone can benefit from what VistaPrint has to offer.

See my mother works as Chief of Staff for a local district representative, and they very often campaign or promote with simple but effective items that you can find at VistaPrint for almost nothing. Low priced items such as their quality lawn signs which are a necessity if you’re out on the campaign trail, and their flyers which can bring you a lot more publicity than you may realize. One of the biggie products that is used effectively on her small budget are car door magnets.

It may sound strange but it really works! The Rep. is in a lot of parades, a lot of parades, and when he’s driving by and his staff are handing out candy and fliers to the crowd, one of the things that sets him apart from the other drivers is that the door of his car is seamlessly customized with his name and photograph, and title of his office. Very cool!

Well now a few friends and I are trying to start up a small business, sort of a side project where we can be creative and make some extra money, and we were thinking about using VistaPrint for their world famous business cards but we also need other things like mailing labels to sort of cement our company name in our customers minds.

We’d need to choose the “Upload a complete design” option because one of our girls is an amazing logo maker and talented artist, so we could start with her design and get our custom labels professionally printed and shipped to us for about the same price as lunch. Isn’t life grand sometimes?
