Caregivers Need Love Too
2009 | Business, Health, Reviews
Anyone who hasn’t been there who tells you they know how hard it is to be a nurse is fibbing to you. I can’t say that I do, either, but a few of my friends are in the health business themselves and while they seem to find their work challenging and rewarding, it’s just hell on them.
I couldn’t walk a mile in their scrubs, I know I couldn’t. I’m just not that strong. I’ve had to give several people 24/7 care before and I can’t imagine being able to do it for a living. Those men and women get my complete respect.
To be honest, I don’t think I’d have any idea at all what to do if I were just starting out. Which makes me wonder why the buzzing ScrubsMag.com wasn’t around floating in the air for people to browse before the internet? Because it’s certainly needed enough to warp the space time continuum!
I got to browse Scrubs tonight for the first time and was blown away by how friendly and warm their website is. They cover everything you’d ever want to know from touchy subjects like Praying with a Patient (which I could never do – I’m a Heathan, it’s forbidden to me) to maybe my favorite article the Dry Hands Makeover. Due to an OCD issue I’ve got a problem keeping my hands from getting chapped and raw from constant hand washing and this article helped a ton!

BEFORE YOU COMMENT: Please understand that, though I'm all for free speech, I'm also busy and downright mean. Because of this I will not tolerate offensive, inappropriate or hateful comments. I'll warn you and delete the offensive part, but if you repeat the offense I'll probably ban you from the domain. I'm sorry, but I just don't have time for spam, racism, and so on and so on. Just to note: What I find offensive? Is what we'll call offensive, this being my blog and all. ;)
