Review: Mosquito Magnet

I’ve got a policy of never stating anything on my blog (or at all) that isn’t true or that I don’t believe to be true, so when I got the opprotunity to visit and write a mosquito magnet review, I was super excited. The reason is that I live in Northwest Missouri, which is very wet and humid, and our mosquito problems are immense. On top of that, I live in a rural part of the country and we don’t have mosquito control trucks, so we just have to deal with the awful bites (so many, sometimes, it looks like you’ve got chicken pocks) and the threat of diseases like West Nile virus.
In fact, and this is the truth, because of the bugs we’ve had all of one cook out in the fifteen years we’ve lived in Missouri and it was awful. We end up weathering the hot, humid summers in long sleeve shirts and slacks instead of shorts and tshirts or tank tops because the insect problems are so bad here. On top of that we’ve tried everything to get rid of them – traps, foggers, sprays and more. Nothing works!
But the Mosquito Magnet looks very promising! It’s a bit pricey, moreso than I could ever afford, but just look at what it’s done for the families who’ve given their testimonials. So worthwhile! I’d love to be able to afford this, we could actually have a BB-Q or take a walk without the fear of coming back itchy, sick or worse. Mosquito Magnet would make all the difference this summer!
