I Want InuYashas Sword
2009 | Blogging, Friends, Gifts and Giving, Money, Random
Yes, I would like to have the Sword of Calamity, please. Why do I want a cartoon sword from an Anime program with a hardly listenable English dub? Because I do, that’s why. Don’t you judge me!
Actually, InuYasha’s one of the few Anime that was dubbed fairly well when it transitioned to English, but that’s beside the point. I want that sword. I would like to have it, please. Okay, now I sound crazy, but hear me out! I saw it over at Heavenly Swords in the Anime and Video Game section along with Conan’s (yes, that Conan) mounted sword and ichigo bankai swords from Bleach. The swords are gorgeous, fairly faithful reproductions of the weapons an Anime fan would see on their favorite show and they have prices that are really competitive – even for me, the girl with no money who can barely afford to keep her poor, poverty stricken blogs open, lol.
I’m really tempted by that Sword of Calamity. I don’t really display anything in my home, I’m kind of a minimalist and other than a few art pieces on the walls, it’s all pretty bare but I think I could much all that up with an awesome InuYasha sword. I’ll just tell myself it’s art. That’s a good excuse, right?

Hanamachi Lights Food Bloggie is Back!
| Blogging, Food
Yes, my lack of food for the last. Oh. Two years? Has made it hard, if not impossible, to maintain Hanamachi Lights, my food bloggie. But I’ve gotten a break recently, and that break is that a new Dollar General has opened up recently which basically means that I can get a meal for a dollar, and they have more variety by far than the other local store. So cheaper (by far) + variety = I get to eat actual food!
Plus my replacement RAZR V3 has a halfway decent camera on it, so I’m able to post photos of everything I write about which has been sooo nice. Consider this me pimping my food bloggie, lol.

Ladies Love Bling, Too!
2009 | Beauty, Gifts and Giving, Reviews, Safety, Shopping
I’m a girl, well loosely defined at least, hehe. Granted, I’m not particularly femme and I’m not particularly meek – and, let’s face it, I can be downright butch – but that doesn’t stop me from being a girl. Why is this in any way important? Because, as it turns out, if you can find any kind of Hip Hop jewelry on the net you’re likely going to find male-only or unisex. That’s something that’s turned me off to Hip Hop jewelry in recent years.
I did get to check out Iced Out Jewelry today, though, and if you haven’t gone I think you’re missing out. Let’s set aside that they coined more than a few of the trends you’ll see in Hip Hop jewelry, or the fact that they’re over a decade old ( as well secured like Folsom ), so you don’t have to worry about buying from them online. Yeah, let’s set all that aside so that I can make a huge deal about the one tiny thing that sets them apart from every Hip Hop jewelry retailer I’ve ever come across – they have a Ladies Bling section! It’s not huge, but the pieces are gorgeous (all of their jewelry is gorgeous, though). Hey, Iced Out! Why didn’t I know about you guys back when I still wore jewelry?

Mouse Fixed!!
2009 | Blogging, Electronics
Yay! All fixed, thank the Gods!
I’d been having the worst problem with my computer mouse the last few days. It would just randomly go crazy and start to click on things, try to close things, etc. and I was soooo worried that it was a virus or something but as it turns out my IT pro friend James was right, we just needed a new mouse. So we replaced it with the one from one of our older PC’s and the issues stopped immediately, so now I can finally blog again! Whoohooooo!
I’m in the process of trying to actually design a theme for this site, but I’m at a loss. I haven’t had it in me to do my own themes in a long, long time and yet I’ve still be doing themes for other people. I don’t get it, lol.
