The Rise of Mad Men

I dare you to tell me that you don’t know about the season premiere of “Mad Men” coming up on AMC. Is anyone else as giddy over this as I am? I swear I haven’t been so juiced for a TV show since Buffy was picked up for a third season.

The style alone, dude. Granted, they’re about 13 years post my style era but I would kill for some of the gorgeous hair styles or dresses their costume department came up with for the actresses on that show. Plus John Hamm is an absolute dream, and don’t you try to tell me he isn’t, lol.

Right now I’m watching the season premiere of USA‘s “Monk“, and kind of icked that it’s the last season but to be honest I can’t get near as excited about this show as the retro soap opera’s third seasons. Le sigh, I’m such a douche but I do love my stories, lol.
