Okay, I know I’ve been talking about doing this for years and years, but I’ve decided to just let Rockabilly go and go right for vintage and repro instead of going for a more ‘punk’ish look. I’ve decided to try for authentic 1940s (war era 40s, to be exact).

I’m so excited. I need to make my clothes, that’s a gimme, and I’m teaching myself to do authentic make up (the eyebrows are the hardest to deal with). I’m re-learning pincurls and reverse rolls, but I want to learn more authentic ‘every day’ hairstyles fromt he 1940s instead of what you see, say, in films from the era because they were very glamorized.

As soon as I have a decent pic or two I’ll post them here and on facebook. Yay me!

Well, I’ve been gone forEVER, I know. The reason is that my beautiful domain (beautiful-sin.net) was transferred away by a hacker along with several of my, my mother and sister’s domains and one of my friends domains.

And to be frank, I loved that domain – I’ve had it for 8 years – and I miss it. So when it wasn’t here, I didn’t have it in me to blog here @ BS at all. In fact, the new domain (beautiful-sin.co.cc – update your bookmarks!) is a freebie and I may replace it with an actual domain at some point. Plus it’s just not the same. I miss my site, damn it, lol.

I’m going to be fixing this place up again, and I hope to get all the downloads back up for you guys but I can’t do this alone so please change your links and help spread the word – remember, the more my blog and downloads matter to you the more they matter to me, meaning there will be more downloads if I feel that people want and can find them!
